Trump Is Still Brexit’s Number One Fan

One of President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team executives thinks that a USA/UK bilateral trade deal is coming sooner rather than later. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Wall Street veteran Anthony Scaramucci said the Trump administration would hope to finalize talks for a post-Brexit trade deal within the “first six months or the first year of the administration.” Trump’s been an admirer of Brexit from day one, calling it a “great thing” and congratulating Scotland on the yuuuuuge vote – despite them having voted overwhelmingly to remain in the EU.
