Hope Dwindles After Deadly Avalanche In Italy
Up to 30 people are unaccounted for and feared dead following a deadly avalanche which destroyed a hotel in Abruzzo, Italy. Rescuers first arrived at the scene early Thursday morning and have since removed three bodies from the debris. The guests had assembled on the ground floor of the hotel, preparing to evacuate before the avalanche struck. Two men, who were outside the hotel at the time of the avalanche, survived. Rescue efforts are currently underway but being slowed down by snow and disruption.
