Syria Loses Another Children’s Hospital

At least 32 people – including children – were killed during the Syrian government’s most recent airstrike on rebel-held eastern Aleppo. The Bayan Children’s Hospital, as well as a blood bank and multiple ambulances, were either damaged or destroyed. It had only been one day since the three-week moratorium was declared over. President Bashar al-Assad’s forces began air strikes almost immediately, firing missiles from jets and dropping barrel bombs from helicopters, according to the monitoring group Syrian Observatory.
