NASA Desperately Needs Your Ideas On Pooping

You would think that in-space bowel movements was a problem solved decades ago, but no, NASA is still looking for ideas. The “Space Poop Challenge” – and we wish we were making this up but we’re not – is inviting members of the public to submit their own ideas or solutions for helping astronauts poop in their spacesuits. So if you can create “in-suit waste management system” that can handle six days’ worth of literal crap, NASA will pay you $30,000. We guess this is what happens when your space program gets defunded.
