‘Mansplaining’ Is Now Officially A Word

While it may have been legitimized by UrbanDictionary.com years ago, the word ‘mansplaining’ earned Jeopardy’s stamp of approval. It was an answer on a recent episode and this is how it was defined: “This 21st century word happens when a male patronizingly tells a female about a topic she already understands.”

If Jeopardy did not make it clear: mansplaining is bad, don’t do it.
