3 Good Things Came Out Of Sunday’s Debate

Find out what Daily Pnut readers thought of the second presidential debate.

If the second presidential debate started your week off on a bad note, you’re not alone—66 million other people feel the same way.

But in the midst of all the craziness, there were 3 not-horrible things to come out of the debate:

1. Tiffany Trump masterfully avoided a kiss from her father

Can you blame her?

2. A Muslim professor had the perfect comeback to Trump’s comment about Islamophobia

Bayoumi is a professor at Brooklyn college and the author of This Muslim American Life & How Does It Feel To Be a Problem. His tweet came after Trump said, “When [Muslims in America] see hatred going on, they have to report it.”

3. Kenneth Bone was the real winner

One of the so-called “undecided” members of the audience asked a question about energy policy during the debate and instantly became an internet star and the darling of the meme community.

Although as with any celebrity, there are always going to be haters. Sure, his question (“What steps will your energy policy take to meet our energy needs while at the same time remaining environmentally friendly and minimizing job loss for fossil power plant workers?”)  wasn’t great, but how can you hate this guy?

Yes, I want to sound marginally more intelligent:
